VISION
Members of the National Association of Purchasing Management are recognized as world class professionals. NAPM and its affiliates serve as a centers of excellence in establishing and maintaining best-in-class professional standards of competency and conduct for its members, and in advancing matters pertaining to research, education, and certification.
MISSION
The association exists to educate, develop, and advance the supply management profession. In the pursuit of world class professionalism, members, affiliates, and NAPM are responsible for identifying and providing the content and methodology for conveying, through the effective use of technology, the defined body of knowledge to the profession.
The association will serve as a center of excellence for the profession in the following manner: Members
- Establish and commit to individual goals and plans to achieve personal professionalism
- Demonstrate highest quality standards in performance of the supply management function
- Actively participate in the definition and development of the body of knowledge Affiliates
- Establish goals and plans to become centers of excellence
- Actively participate in the development of professionalism using the common body of knowledge
- Develop, promote and deliver educational programs with high quality content
- Communicate the goals and plans established by the association
